3 Desktop Note Box Tutorial

Recycled Shake-N-Bake box Tutorial!  This is a fun way to reuse boxes in your pantry!  I needed something on my desk to hold all my index cards that are everywhere!  I jot notes down all over the place and now I have a cute little box to put them in!

I had already gotten this far in my project when I decided to start photographing to make a tutorial.  I could tell I was gonna like this and thought other people might like it too!!   So to start.... I cut the top of my box at an angle as you can see below.  I then proceed to cover it in some pretty paper!

I didn't feel the need to cover the inside too, but you can!

This is what it looked like after I got it all wrapped up!

Next, my box was so lightweight I though it might tip over easily so I needed something to weight it down and make the bottom heavy.  After looking around my craft room - the best idea I could come up with was to glue down these little flat glass marbles, you can get a whole bag of them from the dollar store!

Next, I thought it needed some pretty feet!  I got a little baggie of these tiny wood pieces from Hobby Lobby and painted them silver and glued them right on in each corner!  I think having feet on items make it look much more dainty!

Next, I cut a string of this plastic beading from Wal-mart and glued it around the top edge!  Very simple!

Then make yourself a label for the front and decorate in any way you'd like!  Hope this tutorial inspired you to make something today!!  If this tutorial has been helpful to you please leave me a comment!! =)

My digital dreams are growing again!! I need a few very enthusiastic people to help me out!! Please visit TiffanyDoodles.com and view the variety of stamp styles to see if they are the type of images you would like to work with. Please.... Only apply if you have time to fully commit. Serious entries only please.

Creative Team Responsibilities:

I need 4 to 5 people
1. create around 5 to 7 cards a month with the pre-released products for sneak peaks.
2. needs to have coloring experience (preferably copics)
3. needs to be committed to meeting deadlines

Tiffany Doodles Coordinator Responsibilities:

I need 1 Dedicated Person!
1. Come up w/a monthly challenge & choose winners
2. Promote TD Flickr gallery & ask others to add their TD projects to our Flickr pool
3. Promote all activities and advert in appropriate sites such as, but not limited to; PCP, CDAC, SNR, scrapbook calls, scrapscene, among others.
4. Organize occasional blog hops, fun activities & guest designer spots
5. Post occasionally to Facebook & Twitter
6. Handle Sponsorships
7. Someone to work closely with me and brainstorm great ideas!
8. Must be highly motivated, an organized person, and have the time & desire to be committed to this position.

For ALL positions, the perfect candidates will:

1. Be an active blogger
2. Have digital stamp experience
3. Be committed to submitting their assignments on time.
4. Proudly display the Tiffany Doodles widget on their blog and links in their signatures at the message boards where they belong
5. Spread the love of the Tiffany Doodles by promoting TD at other appropriate sites.
7. Take high quality beautiful photos of their work
8. Be willing to participate in other challenges using TD images

Application:

- Please tell me a little about yourself & your history of paper crafting.
- Send me links to your blog(s) and gallery(s) and contact email.
- Have you been a DT member or coordinator in the past/or currently? If so, what company(s)?
- Please submit a new card (or any paper craft, no scrapbook pages please) made using any Tiffany Doodles image with your application. Post the card/project to your blog. Email link to your post and other items to me at tiff.web@gmail.com
